My saviours Missy and Stacey let me sleep in their room for the night. It was like being in a different world. I didn't have to see anything unnecessary when I rolled over in the night from the one who I assume believes they are a product of goddess like beauty.
I slept until about 12.30 when I heard Stacey was up and about. We had made lunch plans with Emily so I rose from my temporary nest and got ready.
Due to work hours it is very hard to make a proper meal- unless we cook during the day and then freeze things for the middle of the night when we get home. Last week we decided it would be nice to go and try the Steak house around the corner. Our schedules all conflicted so it was decided a lunch outing would work better than a dinner one. The three of us made our way to Santa Fe.
We were all feeling very full after our meat breakfast/lunch. The man who manages the restaurant used to be a marine and showed us a photo of him with Mr and Mrs Ronald Reagan- who he used to protect. Very impressive.
Stacey had to pretty much run home so she could get ready in time for her shift. Emily and I stopped to check the mail box. One letter for a Miss Polly Smith! WOOHOO! A magic thing about it was that Mum had answered a whole lot of questions I had asked her on a postcard I sent on the same day she sent hers. Brilliant.
I had a few hours to spare before I left for work. Can't remember what I did. I probably wrote my blog for yesterday. I am very good at doing that. (Such as the one I am writing now- I am doing it on Thursday, so a day late).
Taylor was on my bus to work so I sat with her and chatted away. Prior to work we were both in a hilarious mood and could not stop laughing. The following video has a bit to do with it.

It was warm today so guests were happy- but a little tired. The ride was evacuated as someone threw up all over it. It isn't normal for the ride to evacuate so many times in such a short time frame- but my presence seems to produce these encounters. Luckily I was down at grotto so didn't have to see the outburst or evac take place.
I had one family on a shell tonight, as they went past I said 'Are you from England'. 'We are', said the Mum, 'How did you know?' asked the Dad. I said 'I recognised your Cath Kidston bag!'. They laughed. It actually made me miss my CK bags back home. Not long till I am reunited with them though. I was on lost and found again, so finished at 12 as the park closed at 11.
Kyrie, Taylor and I all got the same bus home. Then I made some spag bowl for dinner when I got back. Delicious. Just what I felt like. Some of the other roomies were just heading out to Buffalo Wing for a bite to eat but I knew that would make it extra super hard to get up for class in the morning.

Old Mom back in NZ (see what I did there!), well she is in Christchurch so I have been receiving a variety of snaps from her of the fam. Todays included a Hello from Uncy D, and Granny Pops.
