Easter Sunday... hmmm, I am almost too scared to even start this post. We did so much.
First things first... Happy belated Easter to everyone.

We were extremely lucky to have been sent an Easter parcel from NZ from Jack Mouse, Emma Mouse, Caroline Mouse, and Carden Mouse. As soon as I had woken up Kate Mouse had jumped onto our bed and given me the parcel to open.
I was especially impressed by the packaging as it was covered with beautiful pictures of the Wally egg from the egg hunt which I did in London, and Kate did in NZ.
It contained three gorgeous cards- two hand made by the talented Emma Mouse and Jack Mouse, and a delicious pack of Pineapple Lump Easter eggs. Perfect for us to take in our backpack for our day in the park. I will be honest- they did not last long as they were on the minds of all three of us!

We bused to MK and entered in past the train station.
Our first stop was the Fire Station to sign M&K up to the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game. They got their key to play and also their starter packs.

Our first stop was Fantasyland. Here we headed straight for Peter Pan's Flight. One of our family favourites. From there we went to "it's a small world", and then onto The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Next on our Sam plan was Haunted Mansion. After this I had to complete my Sorcerer quest for the day and pick up my new spell cards. The pick up spot for me was right next to the Christmas Shop- so Mum and Kate had a quick look in there.
Next we headed to Big Thunder Mountain. We thought Mum would enjoy this one... but boy were we wrong. She thought the train was going to come off the tracks. So sat out our next ride- Splash Mountain. She would have hated this one too so it was a good thing she didn't do it. Kate and I were absolutely soaked when we got off.

We stopped in at The Hall of Presidents to see all the past and the present president of the USA. This held the potential to be a repeat of the nap through the show situation at Epcot- but we were all slightly interested by the content so managed to hang in there. We wandered up to Mickey's PhilharMagic. This is one of my favourite movie type attractions here. You go through an adventure of Donald trying to find Mickey's Sorcerer hat in scenes from Disney movies e.g. Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid. It is a 4D movie- such fun.
It was then time to take M&K on Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid. I was super excited to show them inside Eric's castle where I work. Kate was getting me to show her all the positions we work on. I love that now they can imagine where I am at work. They had thought it was a water ride which made me laugh, we have no water in site- except for the drinking fountains in the queue.
After showing them my home away from my home away from home we went on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. As you may know on this ride you have a control stick which allows you to move your Dumbo up and down as you so wish.. Well Mum didn't realise this and stayed right at the bottom the whole way around. She said to us afterwards- I kept thinking, thank godness I got this one and none of the moving ones!.
Kate and I had a wonderful view of the park from our elevated Elephant- I'm not sure what Mum would have been looking at!
We made our way back to Liberty Square where we boarded the Liberty Square Riverboat with a Mickey IceCream for us each to enjoy.
We floated around Tom Sawyer Island and once off the boat stumbled upon 100s of guests getting ready to watch the new Festival of Fantasy parade. I still hadn't seen this and Kate found us a wonderful spot to sit. We were treated to the Easter Parade as well as the normal parade. I LOVED it. I waved to everyone I could possibly see.
Here is a selection of photos from the spectacle.

We had been sitting right outside Country Bear Jamboree so decided to go on it and watch the show. Kate and I were walking in first and along the row to our seats. As we sat down we turned around and Mum wasn't behind us. She was back a few steps hurdling over the seats of the row in front of us. We had no idea what she was doing. Turns out she had seen some money on the ground and gone to grab it. When she returned we asked how much she had found. It was $1! Definitely worth the laughter shared when seeing her jump the aisles!
It was then time to head back to Pop for a nap. It was Extra Magic Hours in the park in the evening, so as we were staying at a Disney Resort we could come back later and stay till 1am if we so wished. For park guests not staying at the resort, the park closed at 11pm.
