** Hello from Kate Mouse and Polly Mouse. Our entry for this day of our trip is going to be a little different. We both started writing posts for todays adventures- before getting too sleepy and calling it a night. As a result the first part of the post will be narrated from both P&K Mouse. K Mouse will be in italics so you can tell who is who. What a treat!**
Kate Mouse here. As Polly Mouse is super busy with work and planning all our day trips I thought I'd jump in and update you on what we have been up to. Polly had Friday off so we planned to finally go to a Disney park. We decided to start with EPCOT. I think this had something to do with the fact that there are block out days around Easter. Need to check that one with Polly.
We got up early to get the bus to EPCOT. I seem to get ready quicker than Polly and Mum so I go down to refil our drinks while they finish up.
No excitements on the bus that I can remember. We got to bag check and walked through quickly, then Polly had to get us in the gate with our free passes. It is all quite different to when we were in Disneyland. They take your fingerprint as you enter.

It was to be our first day in a Disney park. I think Mum and Kate enjoyed it. Epcot has a different structure than any of the other Disney parks the three of us have visited together in the past.
It has an area at the front for attractions to do with the future, and then at the back an area called World Showcase which has areas for multiple countries around the world.
We got the resort bus to Epcot and arrived soon after opening. Sam had made us a brilliant plan of what order to do the rides in. We stucked to it pretty well- but have since realised we missed Turtle Talk with Crush (which we really wanted to show Mum), and we ran out of time to do Ellen's Energy Adventure.

I was so excited as we walked through the gates. I love the feeling of entering a park. We got a group photo as we entered from one of the photopass photographers. They scan them on to your magic band which you can see later when you get home.
Polly mentioned in an earlier blog that the Flower and Garden Festival is on at the moment. You'll see a few of the amazing sculptures in the background of some of the photos in this blog post.
We went to guest relations when we arrived to get Family Reunion badges. They also had Just Engaged which Dave and I had missed out on when we went to Disneyland last year. Polly got Dave and I one each. I wear mine very proudly.

We were following a plan that Sam had put together for us so we headed to Sum of All Thrills. This is such an awesome ride. You get to design your own rollercoaster and then a simulator lets you ride it. Mum didnt want to go in the one that Polly and I designed. It went upside down, had a massive drop and a corkscrew. Polly and I loved it. Mum said our simulator was actually going upside down.
First stop was Sum of all Thrills. A simulator where you can build your own roller-coaster and then ride it. Funnily enough Mum thought she would sit this one out. Kate and I however created a coaster which went all over the place and upside down 3 times. We loved it. Mum watched from down below and managed to get a photo of us in it.
It was then to the Finding Nemo ride which is very similar to Under the Sea- except Nemo themed and it also has an aquarium in it.
Then to Soaring over California. I think Mum enjoyed this one. At one stage when we were flying over The Golden Gate Bridge she went "Wooooooowwwwww". It made Kate and I laugh.
We then hopped on a boat ride called Living with the land.

This ride had some interesting components, including going through a glass house filled with unusual plants, and also seeing a variety of ways to grow your vegetables. Dad would probably have loved it.
We then headed to Journey Into Imagination with Figment. A perculiar ride about the senses and your imagination too. The song that was sung was a right laugh.

Next stop... Club Cool. A soda shop where you can try different fizzy drinks from around the world. I am not sure if you remember but one time I was there the man next to me spat out one of the drinks he was trying. It is called Beverly. I haven't been brave enough to try it and I don't think Mum or Kate did either!
Mum's favourite is the Pineapple Fanta. Mine is the Inca Kola. It tastes a bit like Creaming Soda. But I am not sure which one Kate liked most.
We headed into World Showcase. We worked around the lake/lagoon clockwise.
First stop: MEXICO
First stop: MEXICO
I hadn't been inside the Mexican Pavillion so it was as new for me as it was for M&K. We had a very quick look at the market stands and then made our way onto the ride: Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. A sweet ride which showed us places of Mexico as well as presenting a Small World type scene, and a spectacular representation of fireworks.
We started on my mission to collect passport stamps for each country here, as well as looking at everyones pins to see if there were any we wanted to trade.

And just a hop skip and a jump away, we were in NORWAY. We spotted Anna andd Elsa walking through the village to their meeting place and Mum managed to get a photo on her camera. Super sonic speed if you ask me. Kate and I were just standing there will our mouths open in awe.
We decided that instead of having lunch now we would have School Bread as a quick bite to eat. Yum. It is one of my favourite foods I have tried while here.

While in Norway we also went on the Maelstrom ride. It is a fun boat ride which at one point goes backwards. My favourite part is the baby polar bear. So sweet.
With refreshed energy from the food in our bellies we travelled to China. We watched a 360 degree movie called Reflections of China. It was very peaceful and very beautiful. We found a super cool dinosaur puppet which we sent a video of to Sam, and we bumped into Mulan as we walked towards the exit. It's not every day you see a Princess you know.
We had a brief trip to GERMANY. Had a look at the gherkin Christmas tree and in the gift shops before heading next door to...
ITALY. IIt was another quick trip. But we tried on some delicious smelling perfume and had a lovely sit down on a fountain.
Next stop... the AMERICA Pavilion. We arrived just in time to go in and watch The American Adventure. A show about American history. The show wasn't boring... but we were all very tired from our busy few days. I looked over at M&K at one point because I thought 'if I close my eyes for a bit, they will be able to make sure I am awake at the end'. No such luck- they had both beaten me to it so I stayed up to keep watch.
Before the show started they asked if anyone in the audience was here celebrating anything. Kate had been wearing the Disney 'Just Engaged' badge so stood up. She was the only one standing and got a round of applause from the entire theatre!

Next stop on our travels = JAPAN.. We had a look at the amazing variety of gadgets for sale in the shop. I particularly like the notepad which you write in water on. It only lasts s long as it takes to dry. Magical. We also watched some guests choosing pearls in oysters. We were tempted to try it but decided to save our money for something else.
We found ourselves in Morocco. Mum liked the tiles everywhere because they reminded her of quilting.
As we left Morocco we stumbled upon a beautiful vegetable garden filled with amazing colours. We also stumbled upon an extremely enthusiastic photographer who wanted us to pose all over the place for pictures. In the end Mum was saying 'Ok, Thank you, thats enough now'. It was great! We were also given free apple sauce in a sippy drink sachet thing to eat/drink.

We were headed for FRANCE but found ourselves in the line to meet Belle. Bonjour Belle, we said, before we set off for the land of pastries and turtlenecks. We popped into the French Bakery but decided the food there was too sweet. Instead we went and watch Impressions de France. A show similar to that in China. When we came out from the show it was pouring with rain. There had been a storm warning out but it hadn't seemed to arrive until now. Thank goodness we had our rain coats- not that they did much as it was pelting down. This meant all the stalls for the flower and garden festival were closed so we couldn't get all the stamps for that passport in the end. I will have to go back some other time to get them all.
We made a run for England.
We made a run for England.
Helloooooo UNITED KINGDOM. In a fitting setting we arrived here in the rain. We looked in the tea shop and various other gift shops. This is one of the locations wherre Kate and I got a pressed penny. I think it was Mickey dressed as a Beefeater guard..
And the final stop on our world tour was CANADA. We watched another 360 movie here called O Canada! We considered eating at the restaurant here, but decided to head to Mexico instead. It had also stopped raining while we were seeing the film so it was easier to move around. On the way to dinner we each got a Violet Lemonade to try- it is one of the limited offers while the Flower and Garden Festival is on. It came with edible flowers in it. Mmmmmm.
Dinner in Mexico was very nice. It was extremely filling too. Just what we needed. After dinner it was time to get to a few other rides. First Kate and I went on Test Track. we went in the single rider line which means you don't ride with your friends and family- but instead are used to fill any empty seats available. We were in cars one in in front of the other so didn't have to wait long for each other. Using this line also cuts down the wait time a lot.
In the mean time Mum had been outside helping a family find their missing child. So very kind of her. The missing child even came up to Mum to shake her hand after the seperated parties had been reunited.
Next stop was another ride Mum sat out (sorry Mum), Mission Space. This simulator spins super fast and creates a sense of weightlessness as if you are in space. Awesome. It was a walk on too so we didn't wait any time at all.
Our final ride for the night was Spaceship Earth. This ride is inside the giant sphere which is the Epcot symbol.

It was then time to get a spot to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth (the fireworks show they have every night). We got fantastic spots and were treated to Churros and Hot Chocolate by Kate.
After the show extravaganza we made our way back to the resort bus and headed home. I cannot emphasize just how amazing the bed at Pop is compared to Vista. It's like sleeping on a cloud.
